Whence cometh the revolution?

american_revolutionWhy is Justice blindfolded?

I am speaking of the allegorical Justice, also known as “Lady Justice.” She is usually represented holding a balance and sword, the former symbolizing fairness and the latter, her power. Altogether, she represents the moral authority of law, or rather, that the law ought to observe morality.

She is also blindfolded. The blindfold represents the impartiality of Justice, that she is subject neither to prejudice nor influence. The second one – influence – is most significant in terms of our discussion.

It has been pointed out that the Boston Tea Party was carried out over confiscatory taxation on a scale far lower than that to which the average American is now obligated. Similarly, recent revelations concerning the egregious and illegal deeds of the Obama administration have given rise to the question of just how much our current situation parallels that of the men who founded this nation.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

–          The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America

Our founders were predominantly Englishmen, most of whom held a love for their country and their heritage, so the decision to risk their lives, property, and the future of their progeny was not taken lightly. I believe that the most difficult question they had to consider concerning the impending struggle against the British crown was this: When? When is enough… enough? When, or at what point, was it appropriate in their estimation to seriously discuss revolution? There could be no ambivalence as to their moral right to engage in war with Britain.

Bringing Obama down: Race remains a factor

Among many things I discuss in my book “Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal – America’s Racial Obsession” is the lack of accountability imposed and expected with regard to black Americans from the lowest to the highest stations. This is a device of the political left; in its inherent racism, it was only natural that liberals impart a lack of expectations for this “culturally inferior” segment of society. It also made blacks easier to manipulate as a group. Since blacks’ socioeconomic progress had been stultified for so many years, the attendant propaganda was easier to sell to the public.

racecard1Thus, where blacks are concerned, Americans at large (and black Americans themselves) have been conditioned by politicos, activists and the media to overlook and even expect such things as high rates of poverty and crime, misfeasance in high places, nefarious tendencies, illegitimacy, and elements of general social instability and poor character. These expectations have been so thoroughly ingrained into our worldview that most Americans are not even cognizant of the fact that they have been so conditioned.

Given this prevailing perverted worldview amongst Americans, it is no surprise that one Barack Hussein Obama (or whatever his name truly is), having attained the office of president of the United States of America, expected to enjoy more latitude than his predecessors with regard to his actions. This was intensified by the fact that as the first black president, he immediately became an historic figure. Add to that the cult of inordinate deference and adulation promoted by various forms of media, and we had an individual with whom practically no one actually wanted to find fault.

Sgt. Schultz goes to Washington

sgtschultz1So, say I’m a low-level worker at the Internal Revenue Service (I know – just bear with me for a minute), and I am directed to inordinately scrutinize or illegally target nonprofit groups with which I happen to be politically opposed, or to create materials to be used in that effort. What happens?

I’ll tell you what happens: I refuse to do it, job or no job, and I go to the press.

I can say this because I have left jobs due to moral conflicts, although I realize it may be difficult for some to criticize an individual who chooses their livelihood in such an instance.

On Tuesday, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that he would recuse himself from an investigation into the Department of Justice having secretly obtained the phone records of Associated Press reporters and editors, ostensibly in an effort to discover who in the DOJ had previously leaked confidential information to the AP. Holder initially claimed that this involved an issue of national security. Both the stated purpose and the methods appear dubious on their face and have raised serious questions of legality.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said that the White House had no knowledge of the investigation.

Which is convenient, if not even remotely believable.

Benghazi and Boston: Maintaining the Momentum

When President Obama jokingly referred to himself as a former “Muslim socialist” at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 27, several publications later quoting him scrubbed the word “Muslim” from the text. Why? Did editors perceive something imprudent with respect to their agenda in advertising that tidbit? Would there have been something offensive in representing Obama’s utterance of Moosleem in those characteristic, dulcet tones?

It’s not like his affected accent would have translate into print…

All kidding aside: The House Oversight Committee hearings this week on the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya were extremely revealing on three levels. One, of course, was the information finally revealed as the whistleblowers were identified and Americans were able to hear their riveting accounts of the events on the ground that night.

benghazi3Two: Though it has been established that perhaps a majority of Republican lawmakers are treasonous, progressive whores, it appears that there are at least a few who are serious about preserving the republic and who grasp the gravity of the Obama administration’s crimes. This is not only gratifying, but certainly could be integral to extricating this obscene cabal.

Three is the absolute treason of the press. This may not be surprising to the reader, given their comportment in recent years, but their level of abject propaganda and obsequious toadying during the hearings was unparalleled. Few of the alphabet television networks touched on the hearings at all, and those that did relegated much of their coverage to hidden nooks and crannies on their websites.

The beginning of the end of Obama’s reign?

benghazi2

Earlier this week, Fox News Channel analyst Brit Hume asserted that for the investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, “to become the scandal it surely deserves to be,” it will require relentless news coverage.

Hume is quite right, of course; however, there is another requisite for definitive results to develop with regard to Benghazi, and that is the willingness of Congress to see the process through to a just conclusion.

And what would be a just conclusion?

I suppose that depends on two things: One, what is revealed in the hearings, and two, whom one asks. I have always leaned in the direction of the administration having orchestrated the attack for reasons of its own – given his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and legendary understanding of all things Islamic, it is possible that President Obama could even have arranged for the assault on the compound without the foreknowledge of his Cabinet.

A bold charge, to be sure, but I am operating with such questions as the unresolved Trinity United murders before me. Then there are the possibilities that the tragedy came about as the result of less grave criminal action or a series of irresponsible and craven decisions.

The burning question at present (and which may remain so for some time) is why efforts were not made to rescue the beleaguered staff at the facility and whether or not a stand-down order was given to military personnel in the area. If the latter becomes the case, then obviously we want to know who issued the order. Depending on the outcome, measures might be as severe as charges filed against Cabinet officials or the impeachment of Obama himself. While this president reasonably deserves to be occupying a cell in some federal penitentiary anyway, impeachment presents many troublesome aspects.

The dawn of the ‘M-word’

Yes, it would be peachy if everyone could “just get along.” As the product of a mixed-race marriage who was raised to discern character rather than appearance or creed, I consider myself to be quite tolerant, despite recent accusations to the contrary. The reality of coexistence, however, remains the same as it has been since human beings lived in caves. It’s a coin toss as to whether that tribe on the other side of the river – no different than their neighbors on this side – will determine to coexist, or to attempt to dominate, enslave, or even kill the ones over here.

hiraba1Nations – unless they have lost their collective mind – always act in their own self-interest. I am not here to act as an apologist for American foreign policy; as a society directed by human beings, we have probably made as many mistakes in our foreign policy as we have in our domestic policy. Suffice it to say that the United States of America has done far more to contribute to the liberty and tranquility of other nations than we have to harm them, especially when compared to history and our contemporaries of equivalent power and influence. Indictments to the contrary are simply well-crafted propaganda I have personally resolved not to dignify with argument any longer.

Since the Boston Marathon bombing on April 15, several contentious issues have concurrently come to the fore. Immigration, national security and the Second Amendment all came into play with regard to the bombing, manhunt and standoffs that ultimately ended with one bomber dead and one in custody. The Obama administration’s alleged transparency is also a factor, as they continue to obstruct justice and obfuscate pertaining to the narrative.

The Audacity of Narcissism

obama_narcissist2November 5, 2009 – Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan shouts “Allahu Akbar!” and opens fire at the Fort Hood army base in Texas. Thirteen are killed and twenty-nine injured (Later it is discovered that Hasan was mentored by Anwar al-Awlaki, the Yemeni-American al-Qaeda cleric who is subsequently killed by an American drone attack in 2011).

December 4, 2009 – Sixteen-year old Saudi national Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi visits the White House with a contingent of Saudis and Muslim Brotherhood operatives. They spend the night reveling with President Obama, smoking a hookah (despite a smoking ban in the White House) and urinating on national treasures. In 2013, Al-Harbi is quickly deported amidst controversy after the Boston Marathon bombing. His connection to the White House and Obama remains unknown.

Well, of course I can’t prove all of it, but I sure would like to see how the last sentence plays out – because there is undeniably a connection.

Over the course of this week, we have observed the Obama administration desperately attempting to cover up its enabling of Islamic terror networks within the US. Of this, there is no doubt. There is no need for me to go into the minutiae vis-à-vis their rhetorical gymnastics concerning the history of the Tsarnaev brothers and their Boston mosque, or the activities of Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi; these have been comprehensively documented via reliable sources as the evidence has come to light.

When I first saw the photographs of Al-Harbi in the hospital, I wondered why someone who had just narrowly escaped perishing in a bomb blast would display that Cheshire Cat grin for photographers.

Boston: Where it all began

If you’re familiar with the Revolutionary War (with the educational system these days, obviously some may not be), you know that Paul Revere’s legendary Midnight Ride was through the streets of Boston, heralding the start of the war.

It may be that Boston (via the tragedy of April 15) will herald the re-fortification of the Republic, or the Last Rites of this great nation.

paulrevere1As some media outlets are reporting, right now there are crimes being committed by the Obama administration attendant to the investigation into the bombings. Most prominently Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, and a stellar column by Doug Hagmann in Canada Free Press detail not only the machinations surrounding the administration’s obfuscation and obstruction of justice, but the government’s treasonous dealings over several administrations. These are proof positive that the United States of America is being sold out by global socialist elites in both parties, and should clarify a good many baffling policies that have been implemented over the years.

Of course, I’ve been saying for a long time that Barack Obama’s goal has been to literally destroy this nation, and through alliances with the Muslim Brotherhood and other foreign agencies, unconstitutional legislation, countless Executive Orders, and back door dealings, he has brought us close to the point of no return.

But it wasn’t his plan; he was chosen to catalyze a lot of what had been planned for decades, for reasons that should be evident by now.
